Imaging
Software set-up Instructions
1. Open the Control Panel (Start -> Settings -> Control
Panel) and select Add/Remove Programs.
2. Select the Windows Set-up tab, select Accessories and
click the Details button.
3. Check the box next to Imaging and click OK.
Downloading Imaging
If Imaging does not appear in the list of accessories, you must
be using the original release of Windows 95 (imaging was added to
Windows shortly after Windows 95 was first released). The image
viewer is available free of charge from Microsoft.
Save the downloaded
file in a temporary directory. We recommend using a short directory
name, as the installation program seems to have trouble with long
path names.
1. The downloaded file is a self-extracting executable. Double-click
it to extract the files and then run the set-up program.
What
is the quickest way to get searches to you?
Should you mainly be using our site to order searches, you will
see on the search request options page, for both Land
and Companies, the link
"bookmark this page". Click on that link and it will automatically
be added to your favorites, for instant access from your favorites
menu. Alternatively you can bookmark a certain form that you regularly
use.
How
do I get the site to open as my browser default
(Internet Explorer)?
You can choose any of our pages as your browser default. With the
page you want as the default open in the browser just choose:
>>Tools >> Internet Options >> and click on "Use
Current" under the heading Home page.
