LINZ introduces new costs for rejected and requisitioned documentation, LANDinfoNET Limited takes responsibility and absorbs these costs*

From the 18 August 2003, LINZ will be introducing a new cost for rejected or requisitioned documents of $20.00 per document for the resubmission of the rejected documentation (presently there is no charge providing the corrected documents are lodged within a two month period). LANDinfoNET Limited's policy on this is to take responsibility for the cost of any rejection and not to pass that on to you or your client*. Although we can not claim to have no rejections, we have the confidence in the expertise of our people, training, resources, contacts and systems that have always provided you with a rejection and requisition rate historically far below the national average.

To enable us to offer this service, we must obtain a pre-registration search of the titles involved in the dealing on the day we check and lodge the dealing. We will complete the pre-registration search at the reduced all up cost of $7.00 inclusive of agency and LINZ disbursements, significantly less than the risk of a $20.00 rejection fee per document and the ramifications a rejection may present.

Another contributing factor influencing our policy, is our awareness of the need to forward you a complete invoice upon lodgement, enabling you to prepare final accounts for your client without unforseen charges turning up, in some cases weeks later.

For ease of advising us to undertake a pre-lodgement search on your behalf, we have available a new registration form with the pre-lodgement search option thereon. This form is available in either word format for you to save onto and complete from your computer, or a printable form that you can complete once printed.

Should you choose not to obtain a pre-registration search (therefore accepting any possible rejection cost) please forward the most recent search of the title with your dealing. This will be helpful for our people to cross reference against, reducing the chance of a rejection or requisition even further.
